The waiting envelope
A sealed envelope waits by the fence, patient as a treetop and twice as hopeful.
The compass
A compass sits among the field gear. It has never once pointed away from an adventure.
The leafy crown
A great round canopy tops the house, rustling out the news before anyone asks.
The ladder
A ladder runs up into the foliage, with a rung for every treetop conversation along the way.
The lit window
A square of warm light is the first thing you see from the path and the last thing you forget.
